Miki Custom Knife Guild
Miki Custom Knife Guild is based in the heartland of the Japanese cutlery tools-Miki city.The Guild is a group of the Knife artisans, enthusiasts, collectors with the aim of inheriting great tradition of Miki' cutlery tools' craftmanships, and connecting the tradition to the world. Every year, the Guild organize 2 big events, which are All Nippon Knife Show in February or March and Miki De Knife Show in May. Furthermore, the Guild also attends several small volunteer events in the area of Miki, such as sharpening Kitchen Knives for local people or teaching the enthusiasts sharpening the hunting knives etc. Especially in the All Nippon Knife Show, around 50 more professionl artisans from all over the country attend the show for sharing the knife crafting skills, and deepening the friendships. So far the show has also welcomed many foreign kinife artisans, enthusiasts, collectors from USA, Russia, Hongkong, Taiwan, etc, and grown to be one of the biggest knife show in Japan.

Honorary Chairman- Mr. Daito
Legendary Knife smith, aged 87(2018) has spent his whole life time to craft the cutlery tools. As the second Generation of Kiridashi marking knives, he changed his career as the Custom Knife artisan when he was 60 years old. Mr. Daito mainly use Hitachi Metal AOGAMI (Blue)1 or 2 as the core steel, and old boat anchor iron for balanced sturcture of the blade and easy sharpening. Mr.Daito is well known in the Western Japan as the legendary knife smith. Here below are some pictures depicted from local newspaper.
Vice Chairman- Mr. Masatou
Well known Custom Knife maker with decades long experience of crafting knives. Currently leads the Miki Custom Knife guild members to organize one of the biggest Knife show such as All Nippon (Japan) Knife show, and Miki de Knife show etc. Together with guild members to inherit the spirits of cutlery crafting tradition to the coming generation, and introduce the Miki cutlery tools to the nationwide and world. The knife made of Gibeon meteorite crafted by himself is one of his masterpiece.( picture below)
